Bunt's Story
  • To improve my education, I studied Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in Melbourne and in London. This would help those with disabilities, old age and chronic pain.

  • I was very lucky to be chosen to start the department for this specialty at the new Queen Elizabeth Hospital, in Adelaide, in 1958. I also did some lecturing.
  • I was a General Practitioner on Kangaroo Island for 10 years and I loved looking after the people there.

  • Working as a GP in a fairly isolated place, was a great education to me.

  • While I was there, I started a fishing club, a flora and fauna club and a literary society. (www.tourkangarooisland.com.au)
